  • The Milkyway a the Mobius Rock. Located in the Eastern Sierras, this is a popular spot for photgtaphers, which is why I was pleasantly surprised to have it all to myself. The rock is partially illuminated by the lights from a large group leaving the area. © John McBrayer

  • This is one of those happy accident, luck shots. While taking some long eposures of the mineral island in Mono Lake, two hikers happened to light the island with their headlamps as they made their way down to the water's edge. I believe that is the Andromeda Galaxy in the top third of the image. © John McBrayer

  • One of many beautiful waterfalls in Yosemite, Vernal Falls happens to be in a good spot to receive the direct light from a full moon. Even captured a moonbow in this long exposure. © John McBrayer 2015
